FWE, or Food Warming Equipment Company, began when Oren E. Klemm pioneered a line of "HOT-SERVE" food warmers (which became heated banquet cabinets) in the 1940s. Incorporation came in 1953. The company is now located in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and is still devoted to ensuring the enjoyment of fresh, hot meals by those that use their equipment. Their offerings include low-temperature cooking units, holding units, serving equipment, ovens, rethermalizers, utility transports, refrigeration, portable bars, and racks.
