Stoelting
Stoelting Food Service was founded in 1905 when two brothers began fabricating tanks for Wisconsin’s cheese-making industry. In 1939, the company made its first foray into frozen treats when it created the first soft serve ice cream dispenser for the company that would become Dairy Queen. Today Stoelting is headquartered in Kiel, Wisconsin, and is a subsidiary of the Vollrath Corporation. The firm continues to manufacture a complete line of frozen treat equipment, including machines for soft serve, yoghurt, milkshakes, custard, batch freezing, and frozen beverages.
