Hoshizaki, the brainchild of Mr. Shigetoshi Sakamoto who founded the company in 1947, is an enormous manufacturer of a variety of different food service products, to include stoves, refrigerators, vending machines, water purifiers, servers and dispensers, ice-makers and refrigerated show cases. The American manufacturing division of the company specializes in the refrigeration side of the product mix, with a focus on ice-makers.
